We didn't learn..do we?

I watched with great horror and sorrow..it is the landslide again in Ulu Klang. Lost of life, the love ones, personal belongings and many more. Those who did face these calamities could not deny the fact that it is just like the end of the world. Yes..that's the end. One need a very strong will power and determination to start all over again. It is during this challenging period that our social security net will be tested. One might asked.... what will be the role of Pusat Zakat and Yayasan Kebajikan Negara ? Till today..i still have doubt whether it is wise to invest the zakat collection into business ? Or could it be just a one stop distribution center whereby what is collected must be distributed without leaving a single cent ? What about those with debts ? What is the best mechanism for the Pusat Zakat to help them. Isn't it necessary to help those with debts in order to prevent them from becoming poor and dependence? Prevention better than cure ? It looks like a trivial matter but the impact is huge for the community.

Nothing can be done to stop Malaysians to build their house by the hill slopes and hill tops. It is the warm climate that make Malaysians go for the greens and hill tops. Well that's what money can buy...what ever it is..I would see it as the Greatness of Allah. We can have a good life today and face a calamity in split seconds. What ever comfort being bestowed to us in this world is very,very.... temporary and the best that will last forever...... is the life in the hereafter.

Sincerity..

If there is any other word that could described it best...it is sincerity...yes..that should be the word for the young breed of politicians for future Malaysia..if the leverage is sincerity...every tom, dick and harry will start their own assessment on their strength..weaknessess..and synergies..when necessary...the best and the most pious with simple living and no greed must lead..and when you lead..you are a leader of all and not just a portion of the community..if you love Allah..Allah will love you...then all creations in the universe will love you as well.....

In the context of Malaysian politics...UMNO should take the lead..shows your sincerity..get to the bottom most of all problems...poverty...hardship of life....and practice of deen in the community...lets make Saidina Abu bakar...Saidina Umar....Saidina Othman and Saidina Ali as your role model......be prepared for the hereafter...as there will be another final judgement ..and life that never ends..for good or for worst....till then the vision 2020 is just a dream that will never happen...and the history of the glorious Malacca repeats..yes history will repeat..and those who learn from history will benefit the most....

Delayed Remedy...

Our beloved Pak lah, The Prime Minister of Malaysia announced yesterday (10.7.2008) that he is resigning in June 2010. I wonder what will happen from today onwards. One of the reason is that he wanted to continue with his reform..without indirectly admitting that he didn't want to because he is unable to do what he is supposed to do? Even if he wanted to continue with his reform agenda..I just wonder if he still got the 'tooth' or colours to proceed as everybody knows by mid 2010 and beyond, you are not the person incharge ? And by announcing that he wanted to resign on that date, the next question that will arise is.. whether he is accepting the fact that it is his weakness that makes things are not happening as it should be. Or towards a certain extent shouldn't be seen as chaotic as it should be..Otherwise why should resign because you are still needed and healthy. Given the recent scenario...I just wonder whether it is good to have such an arrangement because I still believe that it is more dangerous to annouce the date rather than not announcing it because your opponents i.e. other than UMNO will have ample time to plan and do wonders. Abrupt announcement is still the best..provided you make all the necessary arrangement quietly without even telling your wife or advisors...at the end of the day it is the integrity of a leadership that should prevail..furthermore..if it can be done for the next 2 years..why not just do it for the next two months...or could it be another delayed remedy?

Medical Saving Plan

It has been a long time since we heard about the National Healthcare Financing scheme due to be launch by the Malaysian Government. I am still of the opinion that Medical Saving Plan is the best alternative for Malaysia. It provides long term security for the public. The system controls cost by facilitating contributors using preventive aspect of medicine to say healthy and therefore an increase in his savings. Being a country whereby the majority of its citizens are muslims, it is good to incorporate elements of zakat in the system. God willing, the system should be the chosen plan in dealing with healthcare financing for the country.

I read with curiosity about this guy...he started with malay dilemma..expelled in politics..became the prime minister of Malaysia..resigned..admit his weaknesses and shortcomings in changing the mindset of the malays...famous with the melayu mudah lupa...but even after retirement..he still want to contribute..for the nation..for the malays..I do admire his strength and willpower..just hope that the truth will prevails..for the benefit of all...
